The Role

RES are currently recruiting for an Acquisition Surveyor to negotiate and secure land rights for onshore wind farm sites in the UK & Ireland.  

Your main responsibilities will include

• Site finding for new onshore wind farm development in UK & Ireland;
• Assist the Property Manager in negotiation and conclusion of appropriate property rights for the company’s wind farm developments;
• Provide property advice to the company’s regional development managers;
• Liaise with and provide instructions to external solicitors and agents.

The Candidate
 
Candidates will hold a relevant qualification, or be able to demonstrate competency in the above objectives. Ideally candidates will be registered chartered surveyors. Experience in property acquisition & development and/or Landlord & Tenant negotiations in UK or Ireland is essential for this role. Due to the nature of the work you will be prepared to travel within the UK and, if necessary, overseas and hold a UK driving license.
