CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS RECOGNISED IN QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY HONOURS

Dr Ian Mays, Chief Executive of leading renewable energy company Renewable Energy Systems (RES), has been awarded an MBE in this year’s Birthday Honours list for services to the energy industry. Commenting on the award, Dr Mays said: “I am extremely proud and delighted to receive this Honour, not just for myself but for the many people at RES and across the industry who have worked so hard over the years to take renewable energy to where it is today - firmly in the mainstream and an essential part of the solution to climate change.”
