Carland Cross Wind Farm, Cornwall

The wind farm at Carland Cross is situated near Newquay, Cornwall.

It was the first project undertaken by Wind Resources Ltd.,
a company jointly owned by Renewable Energy Systems,
South Western Power and Scottish Power.

Carland Cross began generating on 27th August 1992, and is contracted to supply power to the National Grid under a ROC –based Power Purchase Agreement.
