The Pacific Crest Project
is situated in Tehachapi, California.
After Florida Power & Light acquired the assets of Cannon Energy,
Renewable Energy Systems (USA) Inc were employed as main contractor
for construction of the repowering project.
This project achieved substantial completion on schedule in June 1999.
A second phase of demolition then took place bringing the total to
250 old turbines removed from the site.
