Haut Languedoc Wind Farm
The Haut Languedoc wind
farm is situated near the village of Cambon-et-Salvergues in the Hérault
département of France and is approximately 1200m above sea level.
The project was developed by EOLE-RES and comprises 23 turbines each
rated at 1.3MW with a combined installed capacity of 29.9MW.
Energy is exported via three underground cable connections (each approximately
19km in length) to Electricité de France's Montahut poste de transformation
substation.
Construction commenced in the summer of 2005 and became operational in September 2006.
