Plateau Ardéchois Wind Farm
Plateau Ardéchois
wind farm is situated near the village of Cros de Géorand approximately
30 km north east of Aubenas in the Ardèche département
of the Rhône-Alpes region of France and is approximately 1300m
above sea level.
The project was developed by EOLE-RES and comprises 8 turbines each rated
at 850 kW with a combined installed capacity of 6.8 MW.
Construction commenced in the summer of 2004 and the completed project
was handed over on time in December 2004.
The estimated energy to be produced by Plateau
Ardéchois wind farm each year is equivalent to an annual saving
of approximately 7,500 tonnes of CO2.
