Souleilla-Corbières Wind Farm,
Treilles, Southern France
The Souleilla-Corbieres
wind farm is situated in the Commune of Treilles (Aude) between Narbonne
and Perpignan in Southern France.
It was the first project undertaken by EOLE-RES SA.
The project was built in two
phases. Souleilla (6 turbines, 7.8MW) started generating in January 2001
and is contracted to supply Electricité de
France under the Eole 2005 program. The Corbieres phase (10 turbines,
13MW) was commissioned in October 2001.
