Wolf Bog Wind Farm, County Antrim The five turbines of Wolf Bog Wind Farm, near Tildarg County Antrim, were commissioned in late 2007. Wolf Bog will generate renewable electricity equivalent to the needs of an estimated 5600 households every year. The site is near Tildarg, Co Antrim, and is adjacent to Elliott’s Hill Wind Farm, which was also developed and built by RES. For more information about Wolf Bog, please email
Details of the existing Elliott's Hill wind farm can be found here. IMPORTANT NOTE - TV Reception After the construction of Elliott's Hill it was found necessary to install a UHF Television self help scheme and new aerials for around 80 householders between Moorfields and Glenwhirry. A study of the potential impact of the extra five turbines on TV reception of the area has already been undertaken. It concluded that "the existing self help scheme should provide coverage to the populated areas of predicted additional interference. Should interference be experienced in areas not adequately served by the existing self-help scheme, it should be possible to optimise coverage through a combination of transmit antenna modifications and a transmit power increase. The possibility of increasing coverage of the self-help scheme has been investigated and this can be achieved without causing unacceptable interference to other transmissions." Anyone who feels that their TV has been affected by the wind farm and has not had it corrected since Elliott's Hill was operational should contact us straightaway.
